Fluent in Spanish, Varela utilizes his bilingual edge in leading and growing the company’s Hispanic Vehicle Finance market.
In his key position as Executive Sales Director at Advantage GPS, Varela brings 15 years of award-winning automotive sales and service experience. Varela’s drive and top-producing performance as the former Senior Regional Sales Director at Spireon catapulted him into the top 1% of achievers across the company’s national sales organization. In addition to exponentially driving sales of Spireon’s automotive telematics solutions, Varela managed and maintained a multimillion-dollar portfolio of happy customers.
Prior to Spireon, Varela began his distinguished automotive sales career as the owner and manager of an auto sales company in Texas. From there he moved to a GPS startup company where he led the sales growth of vehicle tracking systems for automotive dealerships and finance companies, quadrupling the company’s customer base in his first year.
